Tírgréinian ships in Axen Bay
Stalwart foe in old Kaldwei waits
Trembling arms pull oaken oars again, again
Glint of steel, marines three score deep

Mages at the stern, power unveiled
Conjuring flame between blackened palms
Longbows bend and loose projectiles
Death cries drifting across rocking waves

(Chorus)
Amidst the raging inner sea, a naval clash unfolds,
Unforgiving mistress is the water cold
To the beat of battle drums, crusaders sail as one,
To ram and smash the hulls, their enemy's dreams undone.

Wizards cast their fireballs, ablaze with mystic might,
To break defensive barriers, both glimmering and bright
Widows made many as the waves run red that day,
A dance of fear and valor in the Axen bay.

The two fleets locked in pitched battle
Outnumbered, Kaldwei stands its ground
Hundred heroes carve future song
From a maelstrom of rocking chaos

Bold Tirgrein begins to press in the center
Courage of pagans slowly starts to wane
The line of the
golden enfield remains
unbroken in the fray
